TextbookRush presents: #DeckedOutDorm – an Instagram photo gallery showcasing the most decked out dorms. 500 people are guaranteed to win a prize and one lucky person will be considered the most #DeckedOutDorm in America!

A dorm room is your space. No matter what your taste, it’s a representation of what you love most. Share it with us and your fellow classmates! It’s going to be great.

HOW DO I WIN PRIZES?

Enter the Instagram Contest by tagging your Instagram submission (only one entry per username) with the hashtag “#DeckedOutDorm” or “#TextbookRush.” Read the full contest rules.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY PRIZE?

We will notify the winners by responding to your Instagram profile’s winning submission. If two or more people try to claim the same Instagram account, we’ll give instructions on how to prove you are who you claim to be.

WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?

The first 500 submitted Instagram pictures with the hashtag #DeckedOutDorm or #TextbookRush will receive a $25 gift card to Target and a TextbookRush tumbler.
Of the 500 received Instagram pictures, one lucky person will be voted by our panel of judges as having the “best dorm room in America”. That person will receive a $1,000 gift card to Target.

ARE THERE ANY QUALIFICATIONS FOR PICTURES?

We reserve the right to decline any photo submissions. Since we are on the hunt for the best #DeckedOutDorm, please don’t send pictures of overstuffed laundry baskets, empty pop cans or homework assignments.

WHAT IS INSTAGRAM AND HOW DO I GET IT?

Instagram is an application for your mobile device.

Download the Instagram app in the App Store on an iOS device (iPhone, iPod, iPad), or in Google Play for an Android device.
After installing the app, open it on your device
Tap the ‘Sign up’ button to begin the account creation process (the ‘Sign up’ button is at the bottom left of the screen).

WHY DON'T MY IMAGES SHOW UP?

We need to approve your image before it appears on the site. If you don't see your image after 24 hours, check the following:

Do you have your profile set to private? If so, make sure your pictures are public so we can include them in your gallery.
Make sure you used the correct hashtags (#DeckedOutDorm or #TextbookRush) and spelled them correctly.
Make sure you add the hashtags to a new image. Images posted prior to September 23, 2013 will not appear.

If you followed all of these steps, make sure your image appears when you search the hashtags you used on your picture. If it doesn't appear in the search, send us an email to deckedoutdorm@textbookrush.com with your Instagram username and we'll add your picture manually. Sometimes Instagram hashtagging doesn't work properly, and we want to make sure you get your gift card!

You can only submit 1 image with the hashtag #DeckedOutDorm or #TextbookRush. Submissions are counted by username, so you cannot submit a photo under each hashtag (nice try!).
