If making a new account Tobacco Companies ask for the last 4 digits of your social security number when signing up. WHY?!?1? because this is a Tobacco website and by federal law they must verify that you are over 21. They do that by the last 4 digits of your number combined with your date of birth checked against the government database. If you don't want to give it it is totally understandable but you cannot sign up without it. ARE THEY GOING TO STEAL ALL YOUR STUFF WITH IT?? No they will not, they are only checking it against the information they already have
