3. You can file a claim if you reside in the United States and you used the App prior to September 30, 2021.
4. Why the settlement? The claim alleges that TikTok violated federal and state law by collecting and using, without sufficient notice and consent, Plaintiffs’ personal data in connection with their use of the TikTok. This Settlement reflects that this matter is being resolved through negotiation rather than a trial on the merits. 
5. The claim period ends on 03/1/22, that means you will not hear back from them for AT LEAST A YEAR or usually 2 years. Please be patient, these things take a long time to make their way through the courts, but once it is settled you will get your money.
