2. You can file a claim if you purchased clear and blue transparent Recycling bags sold under the Hefty and/or Great Value brands, between July 20, 2018, and August 30, 2023
3. You will receive $2 back per item claimed. Can claim 6 items with no receipt or up to 50 items if you have receipts.
4. Why the settlement? Plaintiffs allege that these representations were misleading because “Recycling” trash bags are not recyclable at many solid waste disposal facilities and are not suitable for the disposal of recyclable products at solid waste disposal facilities. Reynolds denies all the allegations made by Plaintiffs and all charges of wrongdoing or liability against it arising out of any of the conduct, statements, acts, or omissions alleged, or that could have been alleged against it by Plaintiffs either on an individual basis or on behalf of a class.
5. The claim period ends on 12/13/23, that means you will not hear back from them for AT LEAST A YEAR or usually 2 years. Please be patient, these things take a long time to make their way through the courts, but once it is settled you will get your money.
